PORT CHARLOTTE: Charlotte County detectives are asking for the public's help with an investigation into the recent shooting death of a Fort Myers man.
Prinis M. Battle, 27, was shot while he was driving his car on Leona Street in Port Charlotte around 5:45 p.m. Monday.
Detectives say he continued driving but crashed on nearby Liddy Street.
He reportedly got out of his car and walked down the street, where he collapsed.
